We do it all the time.. talk about how bad we want that new car or how we want that raise at work but never actually DO anything about it?!
Don’t talk about it, be about it. Stop making up poor excuses as to why you are not getting the results you want in the gym. Stop thinking of ways to add shortcuts to your problems. Stop feeling sorry for yourself all together, because the moment you believe something is impossible, IT IS.
If you are reading this, I am sure it is because like myself at one point, you are lazy and/or unmotivated. It happens, it’s not the end of the world to slow down some times in life, but when you start back up make sure it is 110%.
Here is an old photo of me at 10 years old. I was always the smallest kid on every team, always called stringbean or “little Rebar”. After graduating Highschool at 150-160lbs, I stopped waiting for it to happen, and I made it happen.
If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don’t. If you like to win, but think you can’t, it is almost certain you won’t. If you think you will lose, you’re lost. If you think you are outclassed, you are. You’ve got to think high to rise, you’ve got to be sure of yourself before you can ever win a prize!
Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger or faster man, but soon or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can!
Don’t wait for it to happen, Work for it to happen!
Anything is possible in this world. Many people truly think that they have limits to their lives and that they can only do so much. SAYS WHO?!??
I am here to tell you right now that YOU can do whatever YOU want, because when YOU start doing what YOU want, that is when you will be truly happy.
Be like me. Don’t take no for an answer. Don’t let them tell you you’re too small or too big. Don’t let them tell you that you “can’t” because you CAN.
I never gave up and I am still going. If you were wondering how I became so motivated with the right mindset lately, then I must give a lot of credit to this book. Unfu*k yourself by Gary Bishop was one of the BEST books I have ever read in my life. It put every point of my life into perspective for me, and made me get my ass up off the couch and do something with my life! I highly recommend giving it a look!
